It is important to use available resources and seek support when we need it. This page provides additional resources and services that are available to you at McGill, in the Montreal community, and online.

Community Resources
The following mental health and wellness resources are free and accessible in Montréal and Canada-wide.
Amiquébec: Has a mission to help families manage the effects of mental illness through support, education, guidance, and advocacy. All programs are free.
Head & Hands: Offers free mental health, legal, social services as well as workshops to youth in need under age 25.
Infosocial: Info‑Social 811 service professionals give advice and can answer questions about psychosocial issues (free and confidential).
Tel-Aide: Free, confidential, and anonymous listening service based in Montreal.
Kids Help Phone: 24/7 e-mental health service offering free, confidential support to young people in English and French.
Hope for Wellness: Hope for Wellness Helpline is available 24/7 to all Indigenous
people across Canada.
Suicide Action Montreal: Has a mission to help prevent suicide through greater access to information, quality services and resources
